What is a Purchase Order

This article explains the details and purpose of our purchase orders and where they can be found on the platform.

When you win a job or accept a lightning job, you will receive a purchase order detailing the order information: RFQ, quantities, unit price, shipping/freight cost, delivery date, and delivery address.

The purchase order will always match the bid or quote you submitted on the platform or the details shown on the platform before you accepted the lightning job.

By accepting the purchase order, you agree to the terms stated on the purchase order, and no amendments can be made.

You must pay close attention to the details on the purchase order, especially the delivery address and the delivery date. The delivery date specified on the purchase order is when the order is expected at our facility and should not be mistaken for the date you are to ship the order.

The purchase order will be sent to you via email and will also be available on the platform. You will receive a notification in the notification section on the platform (as shown below)

You can download the purchase order from the platform by clicking on "Current Orders" and then selecting "View PO" (as shown below).
