On-Site Inspection

This article explains what an On-Site Inspection entails and when it is required.

Updated over 4 months ago

For high-value or high-risk orders, the Partner Development Representative (PDR) will inform the supplier during the initial communication that an On-Site Inspection is required, and will request the production schedule accordingly.

An "On-Site Inspection" involves the PDR physically verifying the supplier’s quality control processes. The supplier must notify the PDR at least two days prior to the completion of production to allow sufficient time to schedule the inspection.

During the inspection, the PDR will observe and confirm that the supplier’s quality control procedures are being correctly followed, ensuring that all necessary checks are completed and the parts are prepared for shipment in compliance with Geomiq's standards.
