Handling Rejected Parts in Virtual Quality Control (VQC)

This article outlines the process for handling orders rejected during Virtual Quality Control (VQC).

Updated over 4 months ago

When parts are rejected during the Virtual Quality Control (VQC) process, the VQC technician will promptly inform the manufacturing partner and an automated email with rejection details will be sent via the Geomiq platform.

The manufacturing partner must review the rejection and submit a corrective action plan through the Geomiq chat within 6 hours. If the issue can be swiftly resolved, the partner should re-upload the revised documentation for immediate re-review.

To ensure timely resolution, the junior project coordinator will actively follow up with the manufacturing partner, tracking the status of corrective actions, as well as any rework or remakes.
