We have a process that allows our partners to apply for extensions in specific circumstances where a delay has been caused by either Geomiq or our customer.
Acceptable Reasons for an Extension:
Internal Clarification: If internal clarification takes longer than 24 hours to resolve, you can apply for the number of days lost.
External Clarification: If a customer-related issue takes longer than 24 hours to resolve, you can apply for the number of days lost.
Platform Bug: If a platform bug prevents you from receiving the correct amount of time, you will be granted the time agreed upon during quoting.
Supplier National Holidays: Extensions will be approved if:
You received a PO during a national holiday and were unavailable to accept it.
You informed us of an upcoming national holiday during quoting.
Unacceptable Reasons for an Extension:
Underestimated manufacturing time.
Production delays for any reason.
Material delays.
Tool delays.
Parts rejected by the supplier.
Parts rejected by Geomiq.
Any national holiday not pre-agreed upon before receiving the PO.
